What size should I order?

Our Everyday Flip Flops tend to run a half-size small, so we recommend sizing up if you’re between sizes. For example, if you typically wear a 7.5, a Boardwalk size 8 will probably be a great fit for you!

That also means if you have a small foot – say a size 5 or 5.5 – you’ll likely be able to wear a size 6 in Tidewaters.

When will my order ship?

Orders are shipped from our warehouse within 72 hours unless you ordered a pre-order item.

Do you offer wide sizes?

Note our shoes only come in full sizes. Though we don’t offer wide or narrow fit specifically on any of our styles, if your foot is on the wider size we recommend sizing up! And we offer easy exchanges if you find yourself with the incorrect size.

What's your return/exchange policy?

We want to make sure you love your Tidewaters, so we make returns and exchanges easy. You have 30 days to return your unworn Tidewaters to us for a refund or an exchange if you need a different size.

Can I wash my Tidewater flip flops?

While we have customers who swear by putting their Tidewaters in the washing machine on a gentle cycle and then letting them air dry, we’ll let you decide if that approach is one you’d like to try!

We DO recommend spot treating any fabric stains using a gentle stain remover and also hand washing your Tidewaters in the sink with dish soap and warm water to keep them looking their best.

Where are your sandals made?

Our shoes are designed here in the U.S. (we’re headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina), and then they’re manufactured in a few different locations overseas include China and Vietnam.

What happens if my package is lost?

We understand how frustrating it can be when a package shows as delivered but can't be found. If this happens to you, here’s what you can do:

  1. Check with Neighbors and Around Your Property: Sometimes, carriers leave packages in less obvious spots or with a neighbor. Please check around your property, including porches, back doors, and garages.
  2. Wait a Bit Longer: Occasionally, carriers mark packages as delivered a few hours before they actually arrive. We recommend waiting 24 hours from the time the package was marked as delivered.
  3. Contact the Carrier's local office directly: Reach out to the carrier (e.g., USPS, FedEx, UPS) with your tracking number and ask them for a case number - only you can do this. They often have additional information and photos about where the package was left or if there was an attempted delivery.
  4. Contact Us: If you’ve done the above and still can’t locate your package, please email us at with your order number and tracking information. We’re here to help and will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
