Hey there! I’m Micheal, also known as the Head Flip-Flopper here at Tidewater Sandals. I took the reins right as the world shut down (great timing, I know). While most people were baking sourdough, I was busy keeping the flip-flop brand I’d fallen in love with alive through sheer optimism, caffeine, and a whole lot of heart.

Tidewater has always been something special. Born from a love of laid-back living and life by the water, our sandals are made for people who know life’s better in flip-flops (because it absolutely is). With our cushy Boardwalk ComfortWave footbeds, playful patterns, and that “ahhh” feeling your feet didn’t know they could get for thirty bucks, Tidewaters are made for every season and every step.

We’re a small but mighty team dreaming up new ways to bring comfort, style, and a little sparkle to your day. We love all animals (and it shows), believe in adventures big and small, and think life’s way too short for boring flip flops. We’ve worked with the same trusted factory partners for more than 15 years, which means every pair is crafted with care, consistency, and a deep respect for the people who help us bring the Tidewater magic to life.

But the best part of what we do? Hearing your stories. We love it when customers tell us where their Tidewaters have taken them - from weddings on the beach to backyard BBQs, mountain cabins, or family vacations.
