Sizing Information

To determine your Tidewater size, follow these steps:

1. Stand on a piece of paper and trace around your feet. Be sure you lean forward a bit. Grab a pal to help with this part if you can.

2. Measure the length of your feet from heel to the tip of your longest toe.

3. Measure the width of each foot at the widest point.

4. Subtract about 1/4 inch (1/2 centimeter) from the width measurement to compensate for your writing utensil.

5. Use the size conversion chart below to determine your Tidewater size.

Historically Tidewater Sandals have run about a half size small and we generally recommend you order a size up if you are a half size, have a wide foot or prefer extra room.  Note your Tidewater Sandals are made to mold to your foot after wearing them. We recommend wearing them around your home or office before taking them on their first long walk.  Please note, due to the handmade nature of our product and differences between materials, some styles may fit slightly snugger at first. Rest assured, they will loosen up to become a perfect fit as your foot molds to the our proprietary EVA footbed.

Our shoes are not offered in wide or half sizes, so if you are between sizes or have a wider foot, you can still wear Tidewaters - just size up to the next full size. That means if you're a size 8.5, you should order a size 9. View our size chart to find your perfect fit.
